I'd be more inclined to touch the previous comment with the screen shot. Surely directly attacking a forum member for something they've said elsewhere is against community standards?
So that's the forum's official stance then?If that's your idea of attacking you must get attacked a lot.

If you think that screen capping a forum member's activity on a completely different site just to bait an argument is perfectly fine and dandy then you have issues, and is testament to how far community standards and moderation of these forums has fallen.
Patrick haha, funny guy. He bases his opinion and theory on what Intel CEO says on twitter, hardcore level of fanboysm.
I'd be more interested if Intel said they were going to improve their 'Intel 7' process, which everyone else calls 10nm.
I suppose Intel doesn't really have to announce anything until Q3/Q4 2022.
If Intel is still trying to win the Core War in 2022, they're gonna have a bad time.
HotHardware said:Indeed, this mystery CPU scored the third-fastest result ever in this specific test. That's impressive stuff assuming this is in fact an early sample, although Raptor Lake's similarity to Alder Lake could mean that these chips will be ready sooner than later. Of course, Intel will surely hold onto the 13th-generation parts until it makes sense to release them—like, say, after AMD launches its Zen 4 CPUs. Both families of parts are expected late this year.
but still looking forward to an upgrade probably sooner than later.
You can type anything on the internet, yesterday in some group i said i will buy ferrari, it doesn't mean i will buy it. He is just light trolling, i doubt he has even 12900k judging by his behavior. Is your 12900K that slow ?

Dreaming is allowed, but it doesnt contribute to forum, if we start to talk about our dreaming and wishes then this forum would be dead.Blazing fast, especialy with fast memory. Just always looking forward to the next upgrade, it's one of my hobbies after all
Can't wait to buy it, Zen 4 + Lovelace will be a beast. These 2 slides do seem to imply that the focus for Zen 4 is on desktop CPUs in 2022:

So, I think it's quite possible that Intel won't need to release mobile chips for Raptor Lake, since Zen 4 mobile probably isn't going to be available until sometime in 2023.
o I'd guess Intel will try to rush it out.
Based on current info RPL should be out around end of Q2 to Q3 so roughly another 6 months at most I reckon, I hope mobo manufacturers do a decent job of bios updates so it can be a simple drop in for current Z690 owners.
