Hi guys,

I've got a Raptor X in my Antec 182 and I've put it in the lower hard drive cage. It has a fan right behind it sucking air from the front of the case. At the moment the fan is set at medium (1600rpm/56CFM) but I was wondering whether having the fan at 1200rpm/39CFM would be suffient enough to keep it cool? Makes quite a difference in noise when I sleep especially with my other 2 fans at low speed too.

Thanks!

yeah that shoudl befine mate :) will still draw air in over *** drive, and not every one cools there hdds anyway :) 39cfm is still a lot of air considering the size of the space its in its a pretty small chamber at the bottom of the p182 just like my p180

I recently recieved two WD Cavaliers Raid editions that were DOA, this was due to over heating somewhere or another. They were reporting Temps of 140degrees in the WD HDD checker.
