Is there a way to extract only complete files from a set of rar archives if you don't have all of them?

I know if you have 1 huge files split across 10 rars, you need them all to get the file, but what if you have multiple files across multiple rars?

Say there are 50 files in 20 rar archives, but only 10 of the rars exist. Those 10 have the complete code for 20 of the 50 files, is there a way to extract those complete ones?

Cheers

Are you asking because you've tried and failed?

From memory, WinRAR will do this. If you open the different RAR parts you will see different files listed. Files that span into the next or previous RAR part have an indicator next to them.

Drag and drop the file from the first archieve. This will work if the file is not spanned into the next archieve. If it is spanned then you will have to wait till all rar's that contain that file to finish.

1 Big file as in a movieeee file? huh ;)

Ah cool!

Didn't actually try, the question just came up at work, might be able to recover some of the files then, cheers!

IIRC there is an option that you can select to keep complete files from broken archives (or to extract files from broken archives) - that will do the job that you are looking for
