Rare gaming items

For the PS1 I have:

  • Every final fantasy released, so 1 to 9, with the exception of 3. All picture disc, mint
  • Every strategy guide to go with above, again, mint
  • Suikoden 1 & 2 (these go for 60 - 100 notes each on the bay)
  • Vandal Hearts 1 & 2
  • Silent Hill
  • Both X-coms
  • Both Broken Swords
  • Parapa and vib ribbon


I also have 2 boxed snes's, in great condition, a few versions of zelda for it, mari kart, all the usual suspects, but in great condition. Also have a N64, Amiga 500 and a few other gubbins :)

*edit* I also have the 3 PS3 FF's, with guides. These aren't as rare. but are becoming increasingly difficult to find non platinum in decent condition :)

Oh, it's occurred to me that I have Legend of Legaia for PS1. I've never played it, and it's going for a song on the bay.... sell/play? sell/play? :p

I have kula world, team buddies and unholy wars for the ps1, all ******* amazing games! Best out there, and they go for quite a lot.
Also got FF7 for the ps1 :D
Also have a 100% functioning nes, thats a pretty rare occurence ;)
I too have CBFD for N64, epic game, and clay fighters and 1st super smash bros :)

Team buddies, amazing game :D

Best things ive got are a bunch of snes games (mario kart, star fox, mario world etc) with boxes and manuals, sure ive got some old amiga stuff too like syndicate and monkey island 1 & 2 full boxed. Bought an N64 of ebay a year or so back and a friend gave me his collection of games so ive got stuff like conkers bad fur day all boxed (sadly not boxed mario & mairo kart). Sadly most of the 'rare' PS1 games ive got are platinum versions though like despotofmidnor got team buddies and maybe some more.

Also just bought the GOTY edition of Morrowind Prophecies (game guide) which is pretty rare, especially outside of the US.

More of a collector to cherish and play though rather than keep 100% pristine & sealed.

I have for the PS1 - Final Fantasy VIII - Limited edition boxset, incluse white memory card, stickers, T-shirt. Someone was seeling one on a well known auction site recently for 180 quids....not sure if it sold though.

Also have a boxed Atari Jaguar, N64, SNES, Saturn, Dreamcast and loads of must have games.....might be worth a bit someday.
 
wow jesus ive got shenmue 2 sitting right here next to me...didnt know it was worth that much i might just consider selling it lol :P cheers mate for the heads up

I have that, the tshirt is SO BADLY worn though, I bought it on ebay myself, was quite cheap compared to that :p

If yours is in good condition you can probably get nearly that much for it...they seem really rare.
 
Just noticed this thread. :o Some awesome items in it!

I caught the old school bug recently, and been picking up some bargains on the bay. :p

I was amazed at how cheap some of the older consoles are when I looked! I thought thought they'd be much more expensive. I was only looking at getting one, but I've got a SNES coming this week as well now. :D

Jaguar is worth a bit, I love the box art on that console.
 
i have no idea if its worth anything but i have a complete copy of lotus esprit turbo challenge for the spectrum :p
i even have the receipt from when i bought it

Any ideas on how much an old atari console is worth? (if anything!). It's just got 5 'games' on it and two paddles that you twizzle to knob to control the game. Graphics are black and white, games include pong (tennis game with two bars at each end of the screen), pong advanced, skeet etc.

Last time I checked was in working order.
 
Got an N64 collection (unfortunately no BFD, Zelda:OOT [I traded it >.<] or Goldeneye) but do have quite a few other games like Jet Force Gemini. Also got a SNES collection of about 40 games including Chronotrigger, Ogre Battle and Mario RPG (unfortunately without boxes, and the Super Mario RPG label fell off so has had a photocopy stuck on by the previous owner)

I have a boxed Megdrive 1 and 2. Your box to your Megadrive one looks in better condition than mine as mines torn but it's one of the first batch of Megadrives that came with Altered beast and the Modem socket on the back. I love the fact it has High Definition Graphics printed on it. lol

I was thinking of getting a CRT telly for old consoles.

I was amazed at the quality on my LCD to be honest. Turned out far better than I expected, even though it's going in through the aerial.
