rare pc games?

I just got told ff7 is a "Rare" pc game.

I happen to have it boxed as new, is it worth something? or not?

some snes games are being sold for 70 quid or so i think.

you would get 20 quid, poss as much as 30, but no more...

Its the same for FF8 too.

I've seen FF7 and FF7 go for up to £40 on ebay. Other rare games off top of my head are Monkey Island series (Big Box only) Blade Runner, Sam and Max, Discworld Noir etc. The real money bringers are with the rare Snes/PS1 games.

You probably wouldn't get much for it since the game itself isn't rare, only the PC version is. The PC version is also inferior to the playstation version and someone could probably buy an old PS and the PS version of ff7 on ebay for about £30.

The Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack/ Alien Crossfire are rare as hens teeth

(Only ever saw one copy of Alien Crossfire, went for over £50!!!)
A few Planetary Packs on there atm going for over £60 by the end, but I wouldn't sell my mint boxed copy whatever as I just love this game too much.

Probably something like Planescape: Torment, I have it, though the dodgy case broke one of the CD's meaning its pretty much worthless now, I went and got a copy off of the wild open spaces of the interwebs.

the "bounty pack" its not really all that pricey and theres a canny few on ebay also..

Yea, i've got an original box bladerunner in great condition sat on myself getting dusty, seen them go for a fair bit on the bay. I'm keeping hold though, even played it through last summer, cracking game

Recently sold Snatcher on the Mega CD for £45.
Also Panzer Dragoon Saga used to go for over £120 (haven't checked recently). Unfortunately I sold mine to a games shop after completing it many years ago. Probably got a tenner for it.

I have the original copy of Mechwarrior 1 on 5.25 disks, boxed & mint condition.
Also Crescent Hawks Revenge & Crescent Hawks Inception.
