Rarest car colours by model

Wasted a good 30mins on this site the other day - https://carcolours.co.uk. Gives you a breakdown of registered colours for each model. Lots of depressing colours up top but also some rare gems on certain models...

Who'd have thought the Jincheng M50 DJC 50's most popular colour is red? I'd have said silver, personally.

It's annoying that you can't look at it per model rather than per sub-model/trim/special edition.

Not sure about how accurate it is, it says that of the 24 le mans special ma mx5's there were actually only a few of them and that they came in different colours

Isn't white (flat white that is) the most popular because it's now a base spec colour for many German cars?

Without looking at this I’m guessing most Audi/VWs are white, black, grey and silver???

My daily driver - "Cocktail Orange*" '09 Kia Soul 2 CRDi - is one of 56. Guess that explains why I've only ever seen another couple like it.

* - that's what Kia called it IIRC. My pa and I have always called it "baby **** brown"

I don’t know if my old CL500 was classed as maroon or purple but either way it would seem there were only two or three of each made in 2000 meaning I had a pretty rare coloured car!

Interesting site. I have a Fiesta ST200 only came in Storm Grey. Interestingly, 98 were registered as Red and 1 as White.

Mirrors the problem I had when I first got the car the V5 showed Red. Managed to get documentation from Ford so the DVLA changed it. Seems some people weren't bothered to do this.

Not particularly rare but my 03 Leon Cupra R was only 1 of 87 in yellow.

Shame the paint was **** and it faded horribly.
