Raspberry Pi 2011 - What do with it!?

Just dug out my very first Pi and would like to put it to some kind of use, any suggestions other than a Pi Hole?

If it is the first original then you're pretty limited, I have 2 and they're certainly showing their age wrt the spec. I did try running a VPN on one but it kept falling over. So I have one running as a backup DNS with pihole, and the other had a brief stint as a headless torrent client.

A dedicated music player, electronic photo frame or a large screen clock.

They are about the same speed as the current pi zero so anything which runs on them should be OK.

You could probably use it as an old school emulator for older systems eg atari 2600, nes, megadrive, amiga.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I might get a eInk display and look at doing a clock / weather forecast
