Raspberry Pi 4 as a NAS?

Now that the Pi4 with USB3 has been released, would they make viable options as a cheap NAS project?

If anyone knows of any good links to tutorials or guides for this use case I'd really appreciate posting them. Can't seem to find many decent ones.

Probably a fairly small scale NAS, I really wouldn't be considering attaching loads of external drives to the Pi.
