Hi all
I've recently purchased a HP ProLiant N54L and will be using it as a NAS for now until I can sort a few things out.
My question is regarding a HTPC using a Raspberry Pi. To me, these seem the cheapest way to get HTPCs around the house. I'm an avid gamer too, I'd love to be able to play my old NIntendo games (via emulators) on the raspPis too.
1. Is it possible to use OpenElec with emulators on the same RaspPi or will I need a different OS?
EDIT: think I can use ROM collection browser for this, just need to ensure I setup the emulators correctly
2. Do I require anything special equipment?
3. I'm planning on having no media/roms installed on the actual RaspPi and keeping them all on the NAS, would this have an effect on the emulators?
EDIT: Picked up a starter kit (Pi, case, cables, charger, 4gb pre-loaded SD card) from the rainforest. should get it setup when it arrives.
Thanks guys, kinda thrown myself into the deep end but I really want to make this work.
