Raspberry Pi Retropie and kodi has anyone used it ?

im thinking of getting a getting a pi and settinging up retropie and kodi

Im just wondering how good it would be and is it worth investing in ?

if you have used it, do did you have any issues ?
lag and freezing issues anything else i should consider ??

I use retropie a bit. Havnt used KODI tho (I use PLEX).

What would you like to know? I'm not sure how much of retropie can be spoken of on this forum before it breaks the rules.

I only use it for megadrive/snes gaming and its fine. I found it hasnt got the grunt for N64 tho. (Pi2B 1ghz OC)

thanks for the reply, I would want to use it as a retro console for Mastersystem /megadrive/nes/snes

also did you run plex on the pi ?

It will be great for those. I had a little trouble getting the aspect ratio set for it to fill a 16:9 screen properly. Although some would prefer to keep 4:3.

I use PLEX on the pi almost daily. It really works well on the Pi. Much better than the one from the sony store on my other TV.
