Raspberry Pi,Suitable for Twitch Streaming?

Wasn't really sure where to post this,So apologies to Mods if its in the wrong place.

Anyway,I was wondering if the Raspberry Pi (Model B) would be powerful enough to watch Twitch Streams to my 32" TV via HDMI at 720p or greater?

I would have liked to use my PS3 for this purpose...but Twitch doesn't seem to work on PS3s browser. :mad:

There's a thread on the linux forum about the Pi, but at a guess, yes? the screen size doesn't really matter it's the res that makes the difference.

have used the pie a number of times to stream some of the league of legends tournaments and it streamed fine @ 1080p random 1 seccond freeze here and there, but not sure if it was the PI or the connection or the stream

, it is the model B with 512mbsdram not sure how the cheaper model would cope

Judging on the fact that The Raspberry Pi can run XBMC at 1080p, I'd say that it'd run Twitch streams just fine
