Rasplex on the pi 3

Hey all after some advice please im new to this part of the forum not posted a thread here before but here goes

Currently my set up is as follow main HTPC in our bedroom is used as a plex server with an intel i5 4690 on Windows. Which is connected to a Samsung H6400 and Ruark Mr1's for our audio. Now we do have PHT Which we do like plays everything we throw at it

Now the TV downstairs is an 48" H6400 and we have a Canton DM55 and an Android box which is quad core now that box has kodi and the plex app. The plex app on android wants to transcode all my bigger files with HD audio due to the plex player for android. i have tried kodi but that is hit and miss with what it plays hit and miss on the bigger MKV files. i have tried the Samsung smart hub plex app that direct plays everything but the large HD audio is out of sync then i have to transcode to dolby digital for it to be in sync . Its fine for smaller MKV with DTS they play great....

Now the Question is does RasPLEX on the pi 3 play everything thrown at it like plex home theatre on our HTPC

I use rasplex on pi 2 and it copes with everything I've thrown at it using direct play.
