Need to replace my aging (3rd!) RAT MMO7 but Cyborg are now defunct. I need something similar in style as I am so used to it now. It will need to have at least 6 programmable buttons on the left and a DPI adjuster that I can use on the move. I have seen this one which would be ideal but not enough buttons;

Does anyone know of a similar set up or am I just going to have to get a Razer Naga MMO style and live with it?

Cheers.

I have a Roccat Nyth and find all the button options ideal plus i really like the fin on top
I am not a huge gamer but it works well for me when gaming :)

Cool looking mouse, thanks.
I did look at that one but couldn't see if it had a DPI switch on the body. I have actually found the Mad Catz MMO TE is still around new so am going to stick with what I know even if the thumb buttons are going to take a bit of practice.
Cheers for the feedback. :-)

I am still using my rat 3, love the thing. Nothing else is as comfortable for me when gaming. Found out last week that Madcatz are out of business so was looking to buy a couple for when mine dies. Does any other company offer a similar shape/design to the rat ?

Well it has a shift button front top left that i use with one of the side buttons to scroll through DPI setting
I am not a competitive online gamer so this might be a bit fiddley to use in game :)

The Cougar in the original post above looks pretty close. The RAT series are a bit out there style wise but when you get used to them everything else seems weird!

I have the very posh sounding Utechsmart Venus MMO gaming mouse which I have had now for almost 2 years and hasn't let me down yet.

Its almost a copy of the naga but at a budget price - I would say it feels cheaper but razor products have never been brilliant either...
The plus side its still working, I usually had to replace razors every year or so.

I was looking at these and have just ordered one. I'm a bit nervous coming away from a metal mouse but this one looks quite substantial. Amazing price and even more amazing reviews. Cheers.
