Ratchet & Clank games

I'm looking for a decent 3D platformer for my mum on the PS3.

She's off sick from work and house bound at the moment, I'm trying to help her fight off cabin fever. She bought herself crash bandicoot 1&3, but completed them some time again.

I was looking for something similiar and was looking at the Ratchet & Clank series.

Wise choice or should I look into something else?

Little Big Planet would be a better pure platformer, ratchet and clank is more of a action shoot em up platformer. I think there are 2 demos on PSN for the latest Ratchet game, one for the standard Ratchet game and one for Clank. Im also pretty sure that LBP had a demo out a while ago.

buy it and take it back if she doesnt like!

Ratchett and clank are great games.Should be able to get Tools Of Destruction fairly cheap now and A Crack In Time has just come out as well.

My mother has also completed all the crash bandicoot games

(Not bad for a 60+ year old woman)

She also likes the sonic the hedgehog games

ratchet and clank games are great fun i've the tools of destruction if she likes crash bandicoot she'll love that ! didnt bother playing crash after i played it.
