A NVQ 2 Qualified Nursery Nurse by trade, who has enjoyed work in Childcare for over 2 years since leaving school and has also worked in catering both in and out of the kitchen.

2000 - 2005 - Fair Oak High School - 3 GCSE Qualifications at Grade C in Food Technology, business studies and citizenship.

2005 - Cannock Chase Technical College - Gained NVQ in Childcare and Education (With full distinctions) and key skill qualifications in Maths, English and working with others. All at level 2.

2005 - Cannock Chase Technical College - Full first Aid certification (At work and young babies and children)
Food Hygiene was also undertaking during this course.
EMPLOYMENT

Mid 2004 - Late 2004 The Spaghetti Factory Ltd - Waiter - Role included serving customers with food and drink. Cash handling and cleaning as required.
Mid 2005 - Mid 2006 - Terraza The Italian Restaurant - Role included serving customers with food and drink. Cash handling and cleaning as required.
2006 - Current - Horn End Nurseries - Relief Staff - Working directly with children aged 0-4 I have been responsible for their care and welfare in a nursery environment . Liaising with parents through feedback of the child’s day at Nursery and working in a ‘key worker’ system.

VAULENTARY WORK/WORK EXPERIENCE
2005 (Part of NVQ 2 Course)- Etching Hill Primary School - Working in a classroom environment assisting pupils in a year 1 environment with work and play.

2005 - Etching Hill Primary School - Working in an early years foundation setting with children around the age of 4, engaging in activities and generally playing with them to help stimulate all areas of their development.

2005 - The Etching Hill Primary School - I used my Wednesday afternoons off college to help the school on a busy afternoon to get further credit toward my course.

2006 - Part of an undertaken Level 3 course - The John Bamford Primary School - Working with Year 1 and 2 pupils in a classroom environment, helping them with work and assisting teachers/TA’s with the day to day running of the classroom.

Post it properly formatted in a Word document, the appearance of CV's is very important and you can't really get anything from just posting it just like that in this forum.

MS have a few templates online if you wanna check them out.
 
I'd say the standard is to put dates in reverse order, most recent at the top i.e. the most relevant information first.

I don't think the NVQ qualification is important in the profile - I can see that from your qualifications listing. Talk more about youself as a person - your aspirations and current work perhaps. I think profiles read better in the first person "I am an enthusiastic and qualified nursery nurse...". I'm reading your CV, not your reference.

The 2 positions as a waiter both have identical write-ups. Put something unique to each - this role taught me customer service skills, this role proved my ability to work under pressure.

"VAULENTARY" - I've no idea how that makes it through a spell check, but it does.

Anyway, like Mr thecheese says, presentation is everything when critiquing a cv, otherwise all we can comment on is spelling and grammar.
