This just popped up on the local social media site, it's nice to see the council have made an effort considering how much we pay them.

Re: "how much we pay them". Most councils have now been through years and years of cuts. Sorry, I mean "efficiency savings". Ours has had to balance the books with cuts in the tens of millions, every year, for years.

Funnily enough, services have suffered across the board. Who'd have thunk it?

I'll bet the money spent on that could have produced a better job. Nobody gives a **** any more.

Time to privatise road mantainence, innit. I'm sure the private sector will do a much better job, much more cheaply.
