Rate my rig/ Will this all work and fit!

Hi all, I know this is the 1000,000 thread of this type, but would value your opinions...

1 X Gainward 4870X2
1 X Acer G24 Widescreen Gaming LCD
1 X Intel Q9550
1 X Asus Maximus II Formula P45 DDR2
1 X Antec Twelve Hundred case
1 X GeIL 4GB (2 X 2GB) Black Dragon EVO ONE DDR2 kit
2 X Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB
1 X Zalman CNPS9700-NT Tritium CPU cooler
1 X Samsung SATA DVD RW

I also have a brand new Tagan 1200W PSU waiting to go in.

I keen to find out if the Zalman cooler will fit on this mobo with the GeIL mem and if not, what would you recommend instead.

yeah should all be fine. Haven't actually looked at that board but it says it's DDR2 so it should be fine. The tagan 1200W is a bit OTT tbh but if you've already got it you might aswell use it.

Cheers for the quick reply, I am more worried if the CPU cooler will actually fit this board. And will it clear the GeIL mem as it is quite high with the heat speaders. Not even sure which way around the cooler faces when installed!!
edit: forgot to mention that I would really like to order tomorrow.

Cheers bud, it has been over a year of saving to get the cash together so I hope it all works as good as it should. I'll be sticking my order in tomorrow then if no one has anything further to add??

My case is only 195mm wide and it safely houses the CNPS9500 version and a side fan. About 15mm to spare It`s also about 25mm from 1st RAM bank.

Reading the reviews for this, it fits no bother in an Antec 900.

Just make sure you fit it before you install mainboard into case
