Rate my Setup - Opinions?

I mean I may get a R9 280X but I am looking at the R9 270X at the moment :) I'll take a look around see price wise.

For my I7 and board I don't really know. Full price without fees would be around £280 ish. Though depending on how I sell fees may incur bringing the total price down around £20-30 if I am lucky :(

EDIT: You are all right, I shouldn't really sell it. I think I'll wait few months to see about Kaveri :) rather than rushing into it.

Thanks all for the input! Really appreciate it!

Mainly looking at the MSI Gaming because it's nice and quiet :)

Think I am mainly intrigued by Kaveri. Would it bottleneck the R9 270X though?

Advise taken! :)

Thanks everyone for making me realise the truth in this.
I'm bonkers for even considering it.

I think it was down to the fact that I like to tinker with new technology.

One last question, just for some thought :P worth it to:
1: Sell the I7 for some cash back and get a sk 1155 Xeon.
2: Sell the I7 for some cash back and move to a lower end I5
3: Consider selling for Haswell (Z87).

I mean if it's an idiotic idea to move to Kaveri maybe it's not such a bad move to move to something on similar lines? :)

Just something to think about really, more cash to buy that R9 270X.

Thanks again!!!! :)

everything your listing is a side step/downgrade where you wont get any left over cash unless you have access to great priced second hand stuff like on the mm here, which you dont. Stick with the I7, see where you stand in 6 months time, it will hold its base value for a long time yet anyway.

I suppose.

I just keep thinking about it, I paid £215 for my I7-3770 plus £75 for the board. Quite a bit of money spend :(

And now I regret it :( ha

If you sell your 3770K and mobo now, you will likely lose money on the sale anyway, by the time you buy the FM2+ stuff, you may actually end up further out of pocket. Why not just keep the i7 for a few more years, and get the value out of it that way...

True. I'll keep it :)

I think my problem is, is I get bored of hardware quick.

I mean this setup cost me around £90 ish more than what I would have paid for a FM2+ build anyway. So I suppose if I subtract that from my total build cost and it's really not that much.
