I am building my first system and I have decided on this layup or another i cant decide?

Asus AW8D
Intel P4 980 Dual-Core 3.4ghz
2GB Crosair RAM
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1900 GT Slave and Master
2x 160GB Maxtor Sata-II HDD
650W PSU
X-Galaxy Gamer Case

What you guys recon and if could recommened changes if think bits are wrong... My budget is abot £800 so dont go massive!

can anyone suggest a kick ass system for around the £800 mark then, I think the X1900 GT card is ok for the graphics but you guys can come up with the rest... I want it for gaming and mostly downloading large files..

Im Just starting trying out overclocking so not really sure what im doing, but I may want to use it in the future so yea...keep that in mind. Also what about the OS, isnt that another £200?

right ok I am thinking abot Xez's setup but is it worth upgrading the CPU to the E6400 the 2.13ghz one?? Im confused abot the core 2 duo, is the E6400 better than say the 3.2ghz P4 dual core?? (I think im just been a dumbass but can someone clear it up plz!)

one last question, is a 450w psu ok for xez set up becos i want the antec piano black sonato 2 case with 450w psu already in??
