All around £722 or so. Any recommendations and advice is welcome. Oh and the budgets £700, but atm 722 is about ok, really don't want to go higher.

Swap the graphics for this card.

Could always used the money saved to buy a bigger monitor.

If he saves £30 then spends £50, he's gonna go more above his £722 that he doesn't want to push ;-)

At the same time, if you can find the extra £20 and make the budget £740 ish, you'll likely really enjoy having a 23" monitor - it's a hell of an upgrade from a 19"

For some reason a bigger monitor makes a computer "feel" faster

Good point Audigex.

With phenom 2 - DDR3 only has marginal performance benefits. If you get this DDR2 RAM and this motherboard you should be within budget.

I'm pretty set on the gtx 260 right now, but the bigger monitor sounds good.

This motherboard, does it have acc and does it overclock well? I'm planning to OC the processor a bit when I get it.
