I made a quick search and couldn't find anything like this. Hope it's ok to make this thread! I think it is seeing as there is a "Now Playing" thread :p

Anyway, i just finished watching Jurassic Park on ITV 2. Awesome movie and it inspired me to make this thread.

Rate the last movie you saw.

Jurrasic Park - 9/10 - Simply awesome movie. A classic. Loved this so much as a kid... and i still do :)

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended DVD) - 9/10 - I love this film, and the others that were released. Such a great story (i know it's not an original story, but it's great :p) Characters are awesome and the locations are REALLY beautiful. I'd love to live in Hobbiton.

You should really go out and buy the "Firefly" series on DVD. (£18 in HMV for the whole series, iirc) Firefly is the series Serenity is based after (Serenity is after Firefly in the timeline). Has got all of the same actors and you get to find out about the characters more in depth and about their relationships etc etc. Really good series. I have the box set and have watched it through 3 times.

I Highly recommend you buy/rent/see that series.
 
I also saw the movie before the series. Loved the movie so much i had to go out and buy the series. And the series is really well made... hard to tell the movie apart from the series.

I heard there was another 2 or 3 films being planned. But i'm not sure they're going to go ahead seeing as the movie didn't do so well in the box office.
 
And theres me thinking the thread died :p

Kill Bill - 8/10 - Pretty good action movie with an ok story. Lots of gore and fighting... i like it :)
 
Pirates of the Caribbean - 8/10 - Decent story. I love the period it's set in, such a cool time in history. And Pirates just rock :D
