The Shining is a awesome film, it's just REALLY confusing if you haven't previously read the King novel, I guess the film just kinda assumes you know that knowledge before hand.
edit: also not to go too off topic but i guess cos of all the publicity and stuff i sorta knew what was gonna happen throughout the film was it wasn't that frightening to me.
Ive not seen the film, a shadow of a man holding an umbrella I guess thats cool 7/10
in honor of jack, the book is always better, it was a good film & Im the same on most horror movies as the events are fictional but the story of how some guy loses it isolated in a big old hotel for six months is well set and the hotel that king stayed in before writing the story is featured in the tv version of the book
To be fair, would any haunted house film bother you..
