Hi all, i need some guidance on this as it is a unique situation.

I have a friend in the US (2 actually, husband & wife) who's pc (which is an old rental office one from HP) has pritty much given up the ghost.

I have been looking all over a number of sites (which i wont mention by name) for pre build/build to order and used/refurbished pcs. I am pritty strapped for cash at the moment but want to get them a replacement ( all of the ones i have found are on the Californian Craigs list - they live in the USA.

The targetted spec is this (for a particular game)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2 GHz or AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 B60 3.3 GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 460 1GB or AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB (must support shader 5 model)
  • DirectX: Version 11
Please can you help me vet these possibles. Im currently edging towards the XPS 8500 with the i7.

The last 2 are you best options just because they more modern and for the prices probably as old as you’d wanna go, but can’t help think you can get 1151 systems for those prices.

Whoever is selling that pc with the i5 660 at that price is deluded, it’s the oldest and weakest system there, it’s about 40-70 quids worth.
Thanks for your input. I also saw that one as the best option hardware wise, but taking in to account the price, would you say that the i7 is the next best option?
