Hi,

I was looking to build a desktop for around £700 and this is what I managed to spot on the website. Are these products worth the money or should I be swapping them for others:

Case: NOT DECIDED YET BUT AROUND £60-70

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-235-MS&tool=3
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690k 3.50GHz Devils Canyon Socket 1150
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-540-IN
CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock SR2
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-006-BQ&groupid=701&catid=2330
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 2133MHz Black/Red
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-175-KS
Hard Drive: Western Digital 1TB SATA
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-366-WD
Graphics: MSI R9 Radeon 270X 4GB DDR5
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-242-MS&groupid=701&catid=56
PSU: Corsair CX500w v2 80 plus bronze
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-034-CS

TOTAL PRICE: £688

Are these parts good for the price or should I be going for something else?

I don't mind spending a bit more as long as its worth the extra.

Thanks

Hi Rowan,

Included quality case, upped GPU to a 280 and got the nicer-looking and better model Be Quiet cooler.

The red colour on the bottom of the GPU won't be seen once on the motherboard, and it has a nice (black) backplate.

Far better PSU as well.

You don't need the expensive Be Quiet cooler really, but it performs very well and would look fantastic.

You could include an SSD if you went for a cheaper case and cooler.
