Rate this Spec sheet for my new build

Hi guys building a new pc soon (Gaming and 3d Renedering , Cad etc ) this is my spec so far what do you think is it ok or should I change anything?? i know some stuff is overkill (PSU) but i want it to be upgradeable in the future

CASE:
Coolermaster Cosmos 2

PSU :
XFX 1000w black edition pro "80+ Platinum" PSU

STORAGE:
128MB Samsung 830 SSD
1TB Western Digital Velociraptor HDD

CPU:
Intel i7 3770k ivybridge

MOTHERBOARD:
Asus Z77 Sabertooth

COOLER:
Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 2

RAM:
16GB Corsair Vengance LP

OS:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Graphics:
will be reuseing my 6870 for a few weeks till i get a Sapphire 7950 OC
 
Well, the power supply seems like massive overkill to me - you shouldn't need more than 500W with those components, and even if you move to Crossfire at some point in the future, 700W would be fine for that.

Otherwise, it looks like a nice selection of components :)

No harm in keeping a system ready for tri fire, if that's what the OP thinks he might do anyway.

Otherwise i'd agree, an 850w would easily be enough
 
Want to keep it ready for future upgrades that's why the PSU is so overkill :)

Ya I will probs upgrade the SSD in the future but they are a bit expensive at the moment

Only using a standard dell flat screen at the moment , not sure what it is to be honest :o but yes it is the plan to get a new screen , any suggestions ??

Yes was very tempted to go 2011 with a 3930k but didn't know if it was worth the extra ???

My main question is what do ye reckon of the sabertooth MoBo , would that be a good choice or is there better ??
