Rather be ignored or have a half hearted conversation

Hey guys,

Just wondering what your opinions are on people who text you and have nothing to say. For example you say something and get a response such as "sounds fun" "party time" "fun fun" "yes" "okay" etc.

Now, if it's a question a simple yes or no text response is fine, but if you send a text explaining something or talking about something and you get "yes", which doesn't make any sense or relate to what you've said at all, does that/would that annoy you?

I personally would rather be ignored than try to text someone who will not put any effort into having a decent conversation with me.

Note: The person sends another text like "Hello?" after a while of not replying to their pointless and unrelated texts.
 
On a slightly more substantial note than my last post, people who send me messages like "Hello?" and "Are you ignoring me?" etc for some reason really make my blood boil, you'll get a reply when I'm ready! Want an instant answer phone me and then you'll discover I actually am ignoring you :D

Some people are just insecure, I play texting like tennis, I serve a message, I'll wait for the return, it's just not healthy spamming people.

I'm the same. I'll send a message and reply when I get a message, but I'm fed up of replying to things which are near on impossible to reply to.
