Rather odd benchmark scores

Hi all I have just been reading a thread over at XSR.co.uk and er I am completely confused.

This review supposedly compares a 8600GTS against a X1950XTX and 8800GTX and the 8600GTS manages to beat the X1950XTX in well everything.

Even more confusing is that it it wins at resolutions where it should be memory bandwidth limited (ie 1600x1200 with 4xAA and 8xAF)

Are these reviews completely bogus? (I think they are although I can't read the language the forum is in)

A load of rubbish I'd say, an X1950pro performs on a similar level to the 8600GTS so an XTX should hammer it.

Well it flies in the face of all other reviews. So yes - I'd say they did something wrong.
