So recently a random rattle has been coming from my PC.

Now I'm not fantastic when it comes to computers, however, I believe it is the power supply fan?

I've not long cleaned my computer, as I thought that would fix the issue but it hasn't.

Would anyone know the best way to go about fixing this?

Do you have any recommendations for power supply units or any upgrades? Like I said I'm no good when it comes to building PCs so any help would be hugely appreciated.

Just use your ear. Open the case and use your ear to find where the rattle is. If it is indeed that PSU then you're better off replacing it. It's not a high quality brand.

Be very careful indeed if you open the PSU. You can kill yourself.

CORSAIR RM750w - £100

10 year warranty and fully modular cables.

Might be a stupid question, But I'm guessing that 100 fewer watts doesn't matter? and also the cables would have to be replaced connecting from the PSU to the GPU, Motherboard? etc.
750w is more than enough for your pc.

Yes All the cables would have be replaced just take a few pics before as a reference if your unsure.

..meh always had so many problems with corsair psu's .. rma'ed at least 4 then just stopped using them ..

Depends on the model. As Corsair like EVGA don't build their own . Just tweaks . Corsair use the most OEMs with seasonic for some of their highest, and thus Corsair hit supply issues just before Covid and then boom... Work at home - get a pc craze hit in and first to run out

The issue with cheaper power supplies is they usually degrade faster. I remember years ago when they were not as good at making switched power supplies the advice was to replace them every year. These days, my general advice is to replace them when the warranty runs out. The warranty on yours is two years. Given that a more expensive psu can be as much as ten years, you see the difference. Personally, I would just replace it with a better one. It's probably about time it was replaced anyway.

Its a KOLINK, KL-850M 850W 80 PLUS BRONZE MODULAR POWER SUPPLY
Errm that needs changing. The PSU is one part of a PC that you don't want to skimp out on. Just get a corsair RMX850W for £110 as it has a 10 year warranty and is a quality PSU. The issue with cheaper power supplies is they usually degrade faster. Generally with PSUs the shorter the warranty the worse it is and the faster it will degrade. Replace it please!
