raw or jpeg to only view on iMac and iPad

am i wasting my time using RAW format as opposed to Jpeg if only viewing in iMac 27 and Ipad3.

I dont intend to print.

RAW if you are going to post process the images otherwise may as well just stick to Jpeg.

I'm only a beginner, but shooting RAW will give you much more potential for PP as far as I'm aware.

Can always export versions as JPG for viewing on iPad, or even shoot in RAW+JPG mode on your camera - best of both worlds.

Nah not really as you can export jpegs at 50% of the original size into the photo stream on aperture to be transferred to the iPad for viewing. Just rank the images you like and then filter out all unranked images and export them directly into the photo stream. Takes literally seconds

Edit, this is from RAWs btw! Export versions as jpeg!

I got Aperture 3 and i love how it blends very well with the mac and iPad and just the general menus etc. this is ideal for what i need.thanks again for your advice.
