Hi all. Trying to use the RAW mode with a 350D. I understand you can only use this in the manual modes so I have put it in mode "M". Whenever I focus on anything however the viewfinder always has the "-2" flashing on the scale that looks like -2-----.----+2
When images are taken even in a bright office they are really dark. All settings seem to be set to 0 exposure wise so why does it stay on -2? This happens on my mates 400D too which has confused us both!

I read the manual but didnt understand it but that helps out a lot! So many options to learn 
Pity you cant use RAW mode in automatic mode!!
