Which lens would you buy if you wanted your eyes to be non visible? With the polarized lens you can see the eyes through the lens.

Haha. Is this so you can wear them on the beach whilst with your missus?
you want to spy on women without them noticing you're looking at them? :p

:p...your not wrong!

Not necessarily. I have mirrored polarized and you can't really see my eyes. Either way look for 'mirror' lenses.

Dont want the mirror ones really. Would like black.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd naughtily hijack this one (sorry Thermaltake, won't be long)

No worries mate.

If you want lenses for a Ray Ban that cant be seen in, you have no choice but to have them mirrored.

The second thing is it depends on what type of model you are after, only about half the range come with polarised lenses, and about half of those only come mirrored.

Polarised lenses arent mirrored in anyway. From a distance they may effectively be good enough to not be able to see through, but all polarised lenses do is stop certain glare coming into your eyes from certain surfaces at certain angles (the glare when sun hits water for example, or the sun coming off the snow). So polarised may be good enough depending on what you want to use them for.

If you let me know what you plan on using them for, and what sort of model you want...Im assuming aviators? Then I can probably let you know what sort of tint the polarised lenses have on them, and could tell you if they are going to be good enough for what you want them for.

Cool, well i'm only using them for the beach, sunny days etc. But if i'm spending £80 i want them to be what i want. I've seen the Polarized ones and you can see the eyes easily. Theres other models which i've seen on people and you can hardly see the eyes.

Actually, here is an example:

These are the 3025 original aviators. G15 lens with gunmetal frame.

You seem to know your Ray Bans, would this be the best choice? Also am i right in thinking the G15 lens only comes in the one tinted colour. Polarized you can get loads of different ones.

Or, there is a black frame, with an awesome grey/green (almost G15) mirrored lens, again not polarised, but looks like the G15, and you wont see your eyes behind.

This is probably the type i've seen. I will have a look now on some websites. Also, when i've been searching for Aviators, i always thought the Mirrored ones were those silver ones which actually look like mirrors on your face. I didnt realise you could get grey/green mirrored etc. Thanks for your help! :)

Rapist glasses!here

PS. Jon LaJoie is very funny!

:D

Just looked at sunglasses UK and there £120
