As title the game, has anyone tried both and can recommended the better game purely for Multi player?

Thanks :)

Ps finding it really hard amazing to discover decent Wii multiplayer games, I mean I got this console purely for multiplayer but they all look like 3rd party rush jobs and get terrible reviews :(

Currently own UC, Mario strikers, Sports and Smooth moves....which gems am I missing?

I know it sucks
Kinda regretting getting a wii atm... where are the party games ffs I have PC and Xbox for single player games.
I guess we can only hope for super smash bros but I heard that has got put back till may  and god knows when we will get mario kart!

The second one has a greater emphasis placed on multiplayer

You have to complete the single player game on the first one to unlock the multiplayer. The first one is great fun taking it in turns to complete the minigames in the single player mode though

hmmmmm I guess I have wario for turns?

or do you think I should be best of getting both :p

Number 2 is really good when you get 4 players, we played it on new years eve, and it kept 4 adults entertained for about 2 hours! Mind, they weren't really game players, but its the best game I've found so far for getting non-players playing. Even my missus likes it, which is saying something :-)

A cheap one to get... Bomberman '93 on the VC :)

won't I need like four classic controllers? :p

May check it out tho, still I can't believe how hard it is to find decent four player games... fingers crossed for the future till then looks like more wii sports :)

EDIT: Donkey Kong Jet Race out Jan25th looks promising imo

Nope, it uses the remotes. :)

It is a bit of a sad indictment of the Wii that the best multiplayer game is Bomberman. It's certainly not been a bad console, but the Gamecube was a fantastic four-player console, and they've not lived up to it yet.
