razer barracuda problems

Hi,

had some barracuda's for a while now, and when i changed my soundcard over the mic stopped working, i remember i had to do some settings weird ones, but i cant remember what, so atm i am having to use my old mic and the sound from the barracuda's so basically 2 headsets.

Any ideas or anyone have them that has had probs.

problems, as in its just stop working?

Mic, is the black 1/4" jack, plug into the black port, should work fine?

Well the mic just doesnt work, but did on my old card.

I just remember i had to do a few settings then all of a sudden it worked..

No.. i was saying that it did with my old card after some weird settings, but now it doesnt on the onboard and i dont have the old card

erm, its not a fault with the headset if you have been turning it off properly, when plugging and unplugging?

its to do with the machine itself, erm. i dont know what to suggest!

If the mic from another headset works then it might not look too good for the barracuda's :|

But i had a similar problem where i couldnt "tick" the box for microphone, i had to reinstall all my sounddrivers which were a pain to find especially with onboard sound.
