Razer Blade equivalent weight/size etc?

Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative to the Razer Blade size, weight and spec wise?

The Razer is ridiculously expensive for what it is!

Check out the gigabyte Aorus line. V7 should be out soon(!)
The X5 is 15.6", X7 is 17.3" and gigabyte/aorus also have some nice 13-14" machines.
 
I get you with the external storage array. But really you need 40GB/s?

eGPU's just don't cut it for me.

If I want a notebook with gpu grunt, I'll get a new notebook. Rather than need a eGPU, desktop gpu and pray that my existing CPU doesn't become a bottleneck.
 
^ GPU Docks use full fat desktop gpus unlike laptops with full fat desktops. Look for some gtx 1080 laptop vs pc benchmarks and you will see the laptop ones are still a fair bit behind. Plug a thunderbolt GPU dock in and that gap closes substantially. & you want the full bandwidth as it is splitable with docks that will give you X amounts of other ports whilst carrying display/audio and charging your device at the same time and having a hdd storage connected. All via 1 port.

Exactly, plus I want a light weight small laptop that won't take up too much space! But I also want some GPU grunt. TB3 affords me that with eGPU docks.
