So i recently purchased the Razer core X chroma and rtx 2080 to fit inside it.
It’s being hooked up to a 1440p 144hz monitor as well, with my RBS i7-8550u processor and 16gb ram.
Question I have is, is the rtx2080 over kill for this set up, what % of its power do you reckon I’m using . How much of a bottleneck have I got and am I better going off going for another card?
ive download ark survival and switch everything to epic, results were okay but not great. When looking at normal normal mouse movement it’s nice and smooth, quick mouse movement and you get a little slow judder, worse in heavy activity area. Is ark know to be quite a demanding game graphically?
I did do a unigine heaven benchmark and got a score of 3704 (min fps: 25.3,
max FPS: 272.9) image of benchmark attached. Is this roughly inline for a 2080?
apologes for lack of knowledge. These are my first steps into the realm of pc gaming! Any advice and help will be much appreciated.
