Hi there,
So I've just bought this mouse to replace my ageing MS Intellimouse Optical, which had a flaky right mouse button. Got the DeathAdder nice and smooth, loving it; but it seems to be missing one key feature.
With the old Intellimouse driver I could set custom buttonmaps per application - so when I was in my text editor, the side buttons would be Undo/Redo, the wheel click would be mapped to F3 (to search), and so on. These would switch automatically as soon as I moused over a given window. As a web developer, this kind of speedy functionality switching was invaluable.
I can't see any option for this kind of thing with the DeathAdder driver, which is really annoying.
Anyone know of any way to achieve a similar effect? Having to manually go into the driver and switch profiles manually won't really work very well, given I'd need to switch them every time I moused between text editor and web browser...
Thanks for reading.
