Razer Deathadder - noisy scroll wheel ?

Got said mouse today and so far i really like it. The only thing annoying me is that when scrolling up on the scroll wheel it makes a grumbly grinding noise whereas scrolling down is nice and silent. Is this normal or is it defective?

Mine is near silent when scrolling down but audible when scrolling up.

Have had mine for a long time and has always been noisy when scrolling up.

I have one and it's the same, I have also noticed that it's the same with almost all the mice I have used.

Mine has a slight grumble. If youre ok with it then its fine but if it "feels" grindy then maybe think of an rma?

Feels ok and i'm happy to live with it, it's just a little irritating is all. I'll get used to it.

Mine has always had a clunky sound scrolling up, but silent going down. Bugged me at first, but you'll get used to it and eventually won't notice
