Razer Deathadder - Scroll has issues, grr.

Half the time when I try to use the scroll button on this mouse the page scrolls as if I've rolled the scroll wheel Is this a driver/firmware issue?

Even more annoying, when I do scroll, it makes a cheap squeaking noise - the kind when something hasn't been oiled properly, and you can't fix it without voiding the warranty!

Have you updated it to the Razer DeathAdder Firmware v1.10 here

And the Razer DeathAdder Driver v1.05b, lists it's main fix as;

Changes since v1.03:
- XP64 / Vista 32 compatibility
- Fixes the erroneous movement experienced when clicking the middle button in some games

These should fix your problems.

As for the squeaking noise, mine does that every now and then but only if i scroll the wheel very very slowly

The update didn't fix Vista compatibility for me
