Does anyone have any feedback for this keyboard?

Can't find much info online, only for the ultimate version.

It uses chiclet keys and I use a Logitech K750 chiclet keyboard at the moment and I love typing on it, infact its my favourite typing feel ever.

Would the Deathstalker since it uses chiclets be as good to type on as the K750?

I did look at mechanical keyboards but I think I prefer low profile keys, I used a saitek cyborg v5 before and I didn't really get on with it.

I can also get the deathstalker today because its instock in a shop near me.

Thanks.

No first hand experience with that keyboard but have had experience with Razer keyboards and they leave a lot to be desired. The overall build quality, warranty and feel is poor with Razer products in general and I'd be tempted to say this is no different.

I certainly wouldn't be replacing a Logitech keyboard with a Razer one. Does the Razer offer anything you specifically need or is it just a change you are after?

In my personal opinion I'd not be wanting to spend over £50 on a keyboard which doesn't have mechanical keys but as you say you like the chiclet type keys.

If you have a local store why not go test yourself and see what you think?

Well I live in Anglesey, so as you can imagine there's nowhere I can go to test keyboards...my nearest purple shirts place is now a indian food purple shirts combined place and the pc game and pc gamer peripherals section they've got is tiny.

There used to be a fairly massive purple shirts near me but they've moved to a new building which is the indian food purple shirts combined place I mentioned.

I don't know what to do, buy a mechanical and maybe I'll go back to the K750 because I prefer the low keys. Or buy the Deathstalker or similar low keys keyboard and most likely enjoy the typing feel but without having tried a mechanical which I might have liked more.

I do remember they had a razer blackwidow on the shelf in the new place so maybe I could ask if I could have a feel of it...not sure if they would let me.

Well I got it.

Typing feel is good, different feel to the k750 and I'm slowly getting used to it.

Build quality is excellent, illumination is fantastic - no dim areas its evenly lit.

The synapse drivers aren't my cup of tea but its functional and does its job although using drm for a keyboard feels really weird.

Overall I would reccomend to those who want a quality low profile keys keyboard.

I was looking in to getting the ultimate version but I think it got discontinued because I couldn't find anywhere selling it and a lot of places had taken it down from their sites. I ended up getting the black widow ultimate 2013 edition.

I'm not sure why people say that the general build quality of razer products is poor. I also have the Goliath extended mouse mat and oroborous mouse and think they're amazing.
