how much better is this over the normal Razer Diamondback?

reason i ask, is i managed to puck up a normal Razer Diamondback for £10 and just wondered if it's worth upgrading?

Cheers

The normal Diamondback had a maximum of 1600dpi with older optical technology whereas with the 3G version because of it's better infared sensor, bumps it up a little to 1800dpi.

And On-the-fly Sensitivity just means you have the option of changing the mouse's sensitivity with a click of a button even when in-game, though that is if it's enabled and one of the buttons is programmed.

And the look of the 3G version is better as well.
