Razer Diamondback Mouse

i've got one of these - it's running fine played through bf3/4 with it but i'm interested in getting a polling mouse and realised i didn't know what the polling rate was for my diamondback

Does anyone know what it is? A google doesn't seem to be digging up much...

Is there anyway i can find out? or change the polling rate as i'm used to the shape now - it's small and i only really use my fingers to move it around (that's what she said)

Also is it worth getting a 1000Hz mech keyboard? i mostly play bf4, thinking of going back to bf3. i have a 120hz monitor by the way and a OCed 290 tri-x to drive it.

Wikipedia says 125Hz.

As for mechanical keyboards its really up to you. The 1000Hz polling probably wont make huge noticeable differences but nice to have none the less. The main thing to ask yourself is if you want to go mechanical which IMO is a great way to go. I think nearly everyone who has gone machanical wont go back to membrane now.

Hmm, having checked the Razer site i now know i am a finger tip mouser is there a zowie mouse that fits that bill - i like the look of them...

Zowie mice are supposed to be really good so I don't think you could go wrong with that.

Go for DeathAdder, I use finger tips too.

Had my DeathAdder since the day they came out! Still going strong

Yeah I don't want anything big. Do OCUK have them out to try out? I was looking at the AM which is closer in dimensions to my diamond back. What is the coating like on the fk1 I've read reports of it coming off, and of the wheel feeling cheap...
