Razer game pad

Get a Belkin Nostromo. Its exactly the same but without the razer badge and about £20 cheaper.

I used to have one and it was good. I would have kept it if it was wireless that was my only issue with it.

Yeah so have I,

I don't know if I would use it, I was hoping someone posted who has it and finds it beneficial

I wouldn't say I found it beneficial. It offered me nothing over a keyboard. The reason I got it was so I could sit back and game in my chair comfortably (I have a trackball mouse so gaming from a chair/bed is easy). Sadly the wire was not long enough. I think they are missing a trick my not making it wireless as a wireless one + wireless trackball basically puts paid to all the console guys saying how they can relax in chair/sofa and game :D

The problem I have at the moment is that using WASD on my G15 makes my hand ache like mad. I was wondering if this is more comfy to use? (sat at a desk)

Hmm I'm not sure. It depends on which part of your hand is aching I guess. Have you tried other types of keyboards? Have you tried slanting your keyboard (using the legs at the back if it has them) or lowering it?

looking at it am struggling to see what i would use it for. any utube vids of games being used with it?

It is basically a way of putting more keys under your fingers/thumbs than a regular keyboard which is great for some people and useless for others. Do you use the number keys to change weapons in FPS games or do you use the mouse wheel? Do you use any macros or would you use any macros? That is pretty much the area that these are aimed at.

aye, i see whare ur coming from. i learnt my lesson from the razer naga

Its my thumb and generally the right side of my hand. I might try a different keyboard first.
My thoughts were with the game pad been shaped like a mouse it might be better on my hand.

Unless you have an abnormally long thumb or very large hands then I don't think it will be what you are looking for. The placement of the "space" key I found to be very difficult/uncomfortable to reach and I have fairly sizeable hands.

I would try some other keyboards first. Just any you or your friends have that are different or try going into the purple shirt place and trying some of the ones they have out there.
