Razer keyboard spillage

Hey guys

My wonderful girlfriend dropped some redbull on my razer chroma keyboard and mouse. YAY!

I thought i was lucky as everything still worked. However now some keys are really tough to press. The drink must have dried inside the switch :/

Is there anything i can do other than throw this out and buy a replacement? :/

On the plus side my mouse only went crazy for a day and all seems ok with that.

They keys come off don't they? Worth a shot, see if you can clean underneath... can't really break it any more than it is by the sounds of it. Nothing you're really going to be able to do with them in place.

I can get the key caps off, but the drink has gone into the switch :S

I took my Blackwidow apart after I spilt beer over it to try and clean the switches to see if I could get them all working again. It's not too tricky to do if you are careful with it and it will give you access to the board so you can clean the switches a bit better.

There are some guides on YouTube you can follow if you aren't comfortable disassembling the board but it's not too tricky to do.

Ouch! Yeah it see if you can find a dismantling guide online and clean it.
It should be pretty straight forward.
