Razer Lachesis

Hey, as most of you know the lachesis has a few problems..

does anyone know of a decent mouse mat for it??

i just got the steel series icemat today and its making my lachesis mouse go nuts, it randomly shoots off into any derection it wants when it wants lol!!

its not too bad on my table desk but i'd prefer a mouse mat if possible!!

or does anyone know if there is gonna be any firmware to sort the crazy laser?
.. dont really fancy wasting money on the icemat as i like it..

Mine is fine. No mouse mat, just the desk surface.

Yeah, ive been using the desk surface but my hand sticks to it sometimes so went for a mouse mat and icemat is awful with lachesis

I am using my old Black Icemat, no problems yet. I stopped using it with my logitechs.

with a razer lachesis?? the cursor randomly jumps to places on the screen every now and again, its annouying the hell out of me & is awful for games.. & as ive just got icemat i didnt fancy wasting the money and not using it but i think im going to have to waste my money & go back to using my desk surface!!

Try Razer support. There is mention of what reads like your problem Here. So might just be a case of waiting before you can use your Icemat.

yep I got my Lachesis at christmas, used it on my desk like my Logitech G5.

Found my old Black icemat, and it works fine. Have you tried the beta firmware.

Im running right out of the box ver1.

What colour did you get? As I was wondering if that could affect optical mice. Just got a blue one myself, but not tried it yet (not got a Lachesis).

i get the odd random fast pasted move to random places on my screen, its well annouyin in games.. i could be facing one way for a reason and next it will turn me round on its own lol!! how ever it doesnt do it with my desk surface but its abit 'choppy' on the movement..

i've got the new beta firmware (v1.56, i think it is..) it didnt help at all imo..
ive heard a lot of people have complained about this jumpin problem but normally people say theres shoots up.. mine goes where ever it likes whats worse lol!

ive got the black icemat.. its fine with my logitech mx518, smooth with the lachesis just that damn jumping is problem..

i really do hope they can fix it..
