Razer Mamba 2012 Cursor Skipping Issue

Hi All,

Started having a few issues with my Mamba in which the cursor will skip across the screen. It started off being quite intermittent, however seems to be happening more and more often. Pain when your trying to micro units in SC2!

I've updated the FW to latest, also tried previous versions. Cleaned the sensor and still no joy. Tried on a few PC's, to no avail. Wired and wireless, same thing happens. Had it for around 2-3 years now I think! so I doubt its in warranty

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Tried cleaning the desk or mouse surface? Changed surface recently?

no change of surface... but I have used a different amount of mouse mats since, gone back to desk, cleaned etc.

Both myself and my friend bought this mouse. Both of us experienced the same issue. My solution was to swear off razer products and bought a new mouse. If you can't get a ~$150 mouse working correctly then you ain't getting my money.

My Imperator has the same problem but it only happens very rarely, spoken to Razer support which were useless so next time I will get a Logitech or Corsair more than likely. I think the sensor is on its way out but reinstalling the drivers and if their is firmware update try that.
