Alright all.

I have a Razer Mamba than I purchased In October, I used it via cable for a while but have now decided to use it via wireless as I enjoy having the light on the receiver on all the time haha.

Anyway the Mamba seems to drop connection from time to time.

This only lasts for about 1 - 2 seconds but it isn't any help during gaming haha.

It happens regardless of battery levels and the receiver is less than 7" away.

My Driver is 2.01 (Upto date)

Any Help would be ace.

Cheers

So here's what they said, I haven't tried any of these yet (although I know most wont work) but will give them a shot tomorrow.

Greetings Quuwahi,

My name is Matt and I will be assisting you today. Mind trying these steps? -

- Have you tried plugging your Razer Mamba to a different USB port? If the mouse is plugged into a USB hub, try plugging the device to a USB port on your computer.

- Please ensure that your Razer Mamba is plugged into a USB 2.0 port and not to a USB 3.0 port. Our Razer devices works well with USB 2.0 ports.

- It could be a software issue that you are facing. Try reinstalling the drivers for the Razer Mamba. You can download the latest driver for the mouse here: http://www.razersupport.com/index.p...arentcategoryid=174&pcid=172&nav=0,76,171,172

- If the above steps didn't work, you may need to update the firmware of the mouse. You can download the latest firmware updater for the Razer Mamba 2012 here: http://www.razersupport.com/index.p...arentcategoryid=173&pcid=172&nav=0,76,171,172

- After the installation, manually launch the firmware update program.
Please go to Start > All Programs > Razer > Razer Mouse > Firmware updater

- Before clicking “Next”, un-plug the mouse and hold down the Left click, Right click and Scroll buttons at the same time.

- Now reconnect the mouse to the computer and after 5 seconds release the three buttons. Windows should detect a new USB device and the update should proceed.

*Should the firmware update fail, please exit the firmware updater and run the firmware updater again. If possible, you may want to try the firmware update on another system.

If the issue still persist, do let us know. Thank you and have a nice day.

Best Regards,
Razer Support Team
