I have a "Death Adder" that has now lived up to its name.....
I foolishly decided to upgrade the firmware. I know, if it ain't broke.....
Anyway it said I was at 1.20 upgrading to 1.40
[Don't turn off etc etc]
I clicked start, windws immediately popped up with the "USB loading drivers" box and then came up with "USB failed to load drivers" box.
The bar on the firmware upgrade hadn't even appeared.
The mouse is now dead, insofar as there is no control and the the blue deathadder light is not cycling through its glow to fade cyecle - its just on.
Device manager recognises a mouse there [calls it a logitech gaming mouse].
I have plugged it into different usb sockest and replugged it into the original socket.
I have tried holding down the elongated button beside the laser [which I assume is the reset button] with no obvious effect.
ANYONE have any further suggestions*
Thanks
*Aside from buy another mouse.....
