First serious post on here - hi!

Some years ago I bought a Razer Copperhead Tempest Blue 2000dpi mouse from OCUK, and loved it. However, when last year I was studying away from home for some time, I left that machine at home, and during that time someone went and moved the system, such that the Razer mouse was left in the sun for some time.

The upshot of this was that the rubber grips on the side have slightly melted, and are now a little deformed and sticky to the touch. Doh! The mouse itself still works fine, as far as I can tell, but it's not pleasant to use, shall we say...

Anyone know anything about getting spare grips from Razer? Can't find any reference to them from a google.

Failing that, I'd appreciate any recommendations for a new gaming mouse - preferably in the region of £30. Cheers!

Razer spares, rofl, I need the scroll wheel spindle for a Lachesis, contacted Razer.
To cut a long story short, the couldn't supply one, without a reciept they refused to accept the warrenty, & they refuse point blank to allow me to return it & pay for the repairs myself.

Not at all impressed with Razer customer service & support.

Ok, I'll write it off as a bad job then - many thanks for taking the time to reply. If anyone wants it for spares they're most welcome...

sk82jack: thanks for the Razer forum tip - I'll give it a go, but sounds like I might not get very far.

I think I'll avoid Razer stuff in future; any recommendations for a replacement gaming mouse? Bit out of touch with what's out there these days.

Many thanks again.

I think Razer make the best mice but I had one go wrong in warranty and for various reasons it didn't get replaced.

I asked for a spare part but they were unable/unwilling to supply one.

razer have the worst cs iv had the chance to chase up so far , on 3 separate occasions i tried to get something sorted and it all either turned out to "we cannot help u" or "u must buy another razer product to make this work" which didn't help after i bought it

Logitech all the way.... best cs ever
