I've recently (as in noticed it just today) encountered an issue with my Razer Naga mouse.
The 12 thumb buttons no longer seem to work on my Windows PC and occasionally it seems to cause the PC to crash (usually when connecting the mouse to the PC).

It's not that the software doesn't work, the buttons don't even output the normal "1", "2", "3", etc.
The Razer Synapse driver identify that the mouse is connected though.

The mouse works fine on my MacBook and also on the same Windows PC if I start it in safe mode.

Does anyone know what I might have done recently that is causing problem with the mouse in Windows 7?

I've uninstalled and re-installed the drivers but it didn't help.

Thanks.

Is it the version with the num-lock switch at the bottom or the newer one that just uses key mapping software?

If its the one with the num-lock switch at the bottom that may have been turned on - the switch changes the output from 1-0 to num lock keys instead - if num-lock is then not turned on on the keyboard/pc then the output would be arrow directions instead.

Maybe try and install the legacy driver for it? From my experience synapse is pretty guff.
