Razer Nostromo Alternative with Joystick?

Hey Guys,

Right, I'm looking for something I'm pretty sure doesn't even exist right now.
I'm looking for a Razer Nostromo alternative with a fully functioning joystick. Not one of your up, down, left, right efforts. But a fully functioning one, such as on an Xbox pad or a PS3 pad.

I don't understand why there isn't something like this more readily available as it just seems like a massive hole in the market.

The combination of joystick for precise movement and mouse for precise aiming would be fantastic, especially as an addition to the likes of a Razer Nostromo.

So, is there anything like this out there?

I'm pretty confused by what you mean.

Do you mean a joystick (arcade) like this: http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/gremimages/JLF-TP-8YTsuper.jpg

A joypad like the complete PS3/360 pads.

Or an analogue thumbstick like this: http://www.gaminggenerations.com/store/images/Xbox_360_analog_360_thumbstick_with_cap.jpg

Couldn't you just hold the pad in your left hand while using the mouse with your right if you wanted to play like that?

I mean like a PS3 / Xbox 360 analog stick.

I get what you mean. A Nostromo / Fang equivalent with an analogue thumb-stick built in.
I'm not aware of anything like that on the market. I would be interested too.

There are very few left-land pads available on the market. The Nostromo has too few buttons and the Fang is no longer made. When my Fang died I went for a Merc Stealth that has the fang pad built in. Not ideal but it works for me. God knows what I'll do when it does.

The Merc Stealth looks interesting, but ultimately not what I'm looking for.
It's kind of unbelievable to me that nothing like this exists yet.

I wasn't aware a PS3 Move controller was an option for a PC.
I haven't heard of anyone using one for gaming with a PC, I've heard of few enough people that even use it for the PS3 lol.

there was a kickstarter for something that sounds like what you are looking for

sadly though they failed to get enough money, hopefully they will try again

failing that how about a ps3 move navigation controller?

Had a look over on YouTube for people using the Move controller, as well as looking at the design of the controller.

Ordered one half an hour ago I was that convinced by how well it worked.
Thank you very much for the suggestion.
